Whether you're looking to take portraits, group photos, sweeping landscapes or detailed close-up shots - the EXILIM EX-ZS5 can do it all. Small, compact and lightweight, the camera does it all and goes anywhere as it fits into any pocket. It's always close at hand and just as easy to stow away again. The camera takes shots with a resolution of 14.1 megapixels, using a 5x optical zoom with a 26 mm wide-angle lens. The 6.9 cm TFT colour display is ideal for viewing photos or videos that you've taken or recorded. And in Easy Mode, you can easily take good photos in any situation, without having to worry about presettings - it's that easy to capture those funny moments.

Within its compact and elegant housing, the EX-ZS5 hides 14.1 megapixels, which don't just give you spectacular photos but also ensure outstanding detail. 14.1 megapixels are perfect for editing, enlarging and printing sections of photos without any reduction in picture quality.
6.9-cm (2.7-inch) TFT colour display
Total clarity
The large 6.9 cm (2.7 inch) TFT colour display completes the design of the EX-ZS5. It takes up the entire reverse of the camera, ensuring an exact view of all subjects, stored photos or films.

In the EX-ZS5 Easy Mode, you can take outstanding photos in any situation – without worrying about presettings or applying the wrong settings by mistake.
Photo Formats
It's your choice
You're in charge – you can choose between 3:2, 4:3 and 16:9 formats. That is particularly practical if you will be showing your pictures on a screen, television or video projector with this format. The 3:2 format is the classic format for photos. With the aid of the 4:3 format you can admire your photos on the TV or on your PC. The 16:9 format is best suited to plasma and LCD-televisions.
Various Flash
The flash for every situation
You can adapt the flash of the EXILIM Zoom EX-ZS5 to different situations. The following presets are available for this:
- Red Eye-Reduction: reduces the "red eye effect"
- Auto: flash is switched on automatically when required
- On: flash always switched on
- Off: flash always switched off
Memory card slot
However you want
The EX-ZS5 can save your photos and films on SD, SDHC or SDXC cards as required*. You are now free to decide which of these optional cards you would like to use.
AV socket
TV show instead of slide lecture
Invite your friends and relations to enjoy the best movies and photos in large-scale format. You simply connect your EXILIM EX-ZS5 to a TV using the AV output.
USB charging
Power supply via USB port or plug socket
Using the USB cable supplied with the camera, you can connect your EXILIM camera directly to a USB port on a computer to charge your camera easily. Alternatively, you can connect the camera via USB to the AC adapter, also supplied with your camera, and charge the battery as normal using the nearest plug socket.
